Document What Exists

Each fossil, mineral, rock, and display object should list the best available source note, locality, dimensions, condition, treatment, and care guidance.

Disclose Unknowns

If locality, age, scientific name, or prior collection history is not verified, the product record should say so plainly instead of hiding the gap.

Exclude Risky Material

Protected, illegal, culturally sensitive, permit-dependent, or human/wildlife material should not be listed unless reviewed and cleared by a qualified source.
